South City Residential/Commercial Gut Restoration
This stately 1911 property is a diamond in the rough, but little by little, the pieces are coming together.
The interior oak wood has been stripped and the designs hidden by years of wear are more alluring than imagined, with egg and dart patterns spanning the ceiling timbers.
To properly paint and seal the aged windows, the technique of glazing was applied to each window pane. This process is delicate and rarely applied to newer homes, but it allows the original glass to be kept, and therefore the original appeal is kept as well.

We have been in the process of completing the HVAC, plumbing, insulation, and drywall for this property. A brand new staircase was also recently built from scratch to replace the failing previous one and makes a beautiful announcement to welcome visitors.
