Golden Age was able to acquire photos of this 1922 Arts & Crafts property back in its heyday. On the top of the banister at the bottom of the staircase was an ornate lamp that brought light to the foyer. Since then, the lamp had disappeared, but a similar one was found to regain the lost effect.
Likewise, the original photographs showed a pair of bookcases framing the fireplace, but they too had been removed. Poplar was used to re-create them and once in place, they brought height to the front room and focus to the stained-glass windows.
